RICHMOND – The Earlham College field hockey team continued its 2022 campaign with a 3-1 loss against Rhodes College in Darrell Beane Stadium on Friday afternoon.
Regan Seeman scored the goal for EC in the fourth quarter after a penalty corner that was put in play by Seeman. Senior
Guin Schalck laid off a pass to Seeman to earn the assist on the play.
Earlham recorded just one other shot in the contest taken by
Jalyn Kelsey in the final minutes of the third quarter.
Despite seven shots in the first quarter, EC held the Lynx scoreless in the first half. All three Rhodes goals came in a nine-minute period in the third quarter, and two came from penalty corner plays.
Earlham was outshot 15-2 and trailed 7-2 in penalty corners.

Earlham will be back in action on Sunday against Lynchburg University. The contest will be held at Centre College at 1 pm.
