BEREA, Ohio – The Earlham College men's soccer team was defeated in its final non-conference game of the season at Baldwin Wallace University 5-0 on Saturday evening.
The Quakers fell to 2-4-1 on the season.
The Yellow Jackets hit paydirt first in the 14th minute and led 1-0 going into the halftime break. The floodgates opened in the second half as BW added four more goals in the second frame.
Earlham was outshot 32-4 and trailed 15-2 in corner kicks.
Braden Guinn recorded the only Quaker shot on goal in the 33rd minute of play.
Tyler Smith collected five saves in goal.
Earlham begins its Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference schedule on Wednesday at home against Hanover College. Kickoff is slated for 3:30 pm in Matlack-Messer Staidum.
