SPRINGFIELD, OH  - The Earlham College Men's Golf Team concluded its fall season with strong performance in the Wittenberg Fall Invitational placing in a tie for sixth place in the 12 team event.

Sophomore Vassily Lombard (Vineuil-Saint-Firmin, France) paced the Quakers with a 76 – 76 – 152 (+8,) good for an 18th place finish. Fellow countryman First-year Arthur Del Bourgo (Metz, France) also finished in the top 20.

Head Coach CD Hockersmith said, "I am very proud of all the guys for how they played in less than ideal conditions against a very strong field. Vassily played extremely well as he was the low HCAC finisher." 

Junior Captain Charles Bowen-Rayner (London, England) finished in 24th place and was the Quakers' most consistent player for the fall with a 77.2 stroke average. Juniors Mychal McKelvey (Plain City, OH) and Adam Strecker (Apopka, FL) tied for 31st position. McKelvey led the squad for the fall with a 76.8 scoring average.

The Quakers are back in action in the spring at the Alabama Invasion hosted by Spalding University during spring break.
