CARMEL, Ind. – On Tuesday, the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced the 2023 All-HCAC volleyball teams. 

Caylee Brandes and Maria Young both earned a selection on the HCAC second team, and Brandes was also named to the First-Year Team.

Young led the Quakers in kills this season with 239, and a .126 attack percentage. The senior played in all 100 sets, and is the only Quaker to start all 27 matches. Maria also scored 14 service aces, and 48 blocks. 

Brandes led the squad in kills per set with 2.44. The freshman scored 198 total kills and had a .174 attack percentage on the season. Caylee also shot 10 service aces, and combined for 19 blocks. She was also named to the All-HCAC First-Year team, a collection of six first-year players who made an impact on their varsity roster this fall. 

The Quakers are set to take on Manchester University on Wednesday evening to begin the HCAC Tournament. First serve is scheduled for 7 pm.
