Senior Maria Young and Sophomore Sydney Bleyle were named to the College Sport Communicators NCAA Division III All-District Volleyball Team for the 2023 season.

The CSC Academic All-District Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. 

This marks the first career CSC Academic All-District accolade for both Quakers. 
Young is an Earth and Environmental Science major who will be graduating in May. Young earned an All-HCAC Academic award, as well as a Second Team All-HCAC award. Young finishes her fourth season at Earlham with 104 matches, 1171 kills, 88 aces, 631 digs, 162 total blocks.
Bleyle is a biology major who finishes her second season with 26 matches under her belt, 291 assists and 92 digs. Bleyle was also named to the All-HCAC Academic list.
The Quakers ended their season in early November with a 10-18 [4-5 HCAC] record, the Quakers qualified for their fifth HCAC Tournament in the past six season.

Academic All-America honorees will be announced on Jan. 9.
