ANDERSON, Ind. – The Earlham College women's basketball team continued conference play with a 79-64 loss at Anderson University on Wednesday evening.
The Quakers fell to 2-4 (0-2 HCAC) while the Ravens improved to 4-4 (1-2 HCAC).
Amari Wright led the Quakers on offense with 13 points scored and six rebounds.
Bailey Gibson led under the rim with seven boards.
Madison Short reached double digits for the first time in her career with 10 points.
After surrendering the opening score, the Ravens scored a 16-4 run through the next six minutes of play. The Quakers kept pace in the second frame, but could not gain any ground on the hosts.
Anderson then began the third quarter with a 14-2 run, and led 55-32.
The Quakers will be back in action on Saturday at Franklin College for another HCAC matchup. Tip-off is scheduled for 1 pm.
