SELLERSBURG, Ind. – The Earlham College men's golf team returned to action for its spring season with the Dan Quayle Invitational hosted by DePauw University on Monday and Tuesday.
The Quakers ended the event in seventh place after match play on Tuesday.
Earlham put together a team score of 312 on Monday's stroke play with
Adam Strecker leading the squad at 76 strokes.
Vassily Lombard followed at a score of 77, with
Charles Bowen-Rayner at 78.
Mychal McKelvey scored an 81 on the course, and
Ben Pratt and Hudson Roebkin rounded out the lineup on Monday morning.
The Quakers fell to Ohio Wesleyan in the opening round of the consolation bracket on Monday afternoon before defeating Anderson 5-1 in Tuesday's matchup.
The Quakers will be back in action this weekend at the Bluffton Invitational.
