TIFFIN, Ohio – The Earlham College men's lacrosse team continued its 2023 season in Tiffin, Ohio against Heidelberg University on Wednesday evening. The Student Princes came out on top 7-3 in Hoernemann Stadium.
Elijah Gamber netted two goals on cage on the evening, and Freshman
Ryan Polack notched the first goal of the contest for the Quakers.
Robert Gift dished out the only EC assist of the night on Gamber's first goal in the third quarter.
Ethan Upton and
Donovan Shea led the defense in ground balls with seven each. Shea also recorded a team-high four caused turnovers while going 4-for-9 on faceoffs.
The Quakers were outshot 39-29. Earlham also was successful on 21 out of 30 clear attempts.
Sam Sargent collected eight saves in goal in three quarters of work.
EC will be back in action on March 18th at Centenary College. The HCLC cross-division matchup is set for 5 pm CT in Louisiana.
