RICHMOND – The Earlham College men's lacrosse team concluded its 2023 season with a 15-3 loss against Anderson University on Saturday afternoon in Darrell Beane Stadium.
Elijah Gamber scored two goals for the Quakers on four shots.
Donovan Shea notched the other EC goal, while
Robert Gift dished out two assists.
Shea was among the team leaders on defense with seven caused turnovers and nine ground balls, with four faceoff wins.
Ethan Upton also had caused turnovers and nine ground balls.
Emmitt Shaughnessy collected 13 saves in goal.
The Quakers were outshot 53-25, and trailed in ground balls 44-31. EC went 26-for-32 on clears.
The Quakers conclude their season with a record of 4-8, and a 1-3 mark in the HCLC. The Quakers posted the highest winning percentage (.333) in the six-year history of the program, and tied the highest win mark on the season.
