TERRE HAUTE, Ind – The Earlham College cross country team began its season at the Rose-Hulman Opener on Friday evening.
The men's team finished in third place in the event with 74 points.
Conner Del Carmen won the individual event with a time of 16:07.0 in the 5k race. The junior had a 14 second lead over the next finisher. Sophomore Ethan Rose was next for the Quakers with a time of 18:01.5 to finish in 23rd place.
Katelyn Trotto led the women's squad with a 25:36.3 finishing time. The freshman earned a 13th-place finish individually in the meet.
The Quakers will be back on course next weekend at the Hanover Invitational.
