BEREA, Ky. – After leading 2-0 at halftime, the Earlham College men's soccer team fell to Berea College 3-2 on Friday evening.
Quentin Berry got the scoring started early in just the second minute of play. The senior forward stole the ball from the Mountaineer defense on the left side, he then took a decisive shot to the far post for the score.
Oliver Stratton-Treadway scored his first career goal in the 24th minute of play to increase the lead.
The Quakers allowed nine shots in the second half of play, and the Mountaineers managed to put away three goals on the defense.
Duncan Jordahl collected one save in the goal.
Earlham will continue its season tomorrow on the road at Asbury University. Kickoff is slated for 5 pm.
