RICHMOND – The Earlham College men's tennis team swept Miami University Middletown 9-0 on Saturday afternoon.
The Quakers improved to 1-1 on the season.
Sarthak Sharma led EC at the No.1 singles spot with 6-0, 6-0 victory.
Dev Agrawal improved to 2-0 on the season with a sweep at No.2 singles.
Nathen Peck scored a 6-0, 6-0 win at No.3 singles, and
Simon Hoover won 6-1, 7-6 at No.4.
Robert Lemon rounded out the lineup with a 6-0, 6-0 sweep at No.5 singles.
The Quakers did not surrender a point in doubles play, with Agrawal and Sharma winning 4-0 at No.1.
Noah Radtke Kishimoto and Peck won 8-0 at No.2, and Hoover and Lemon won 8-0 at No.3.
The Quakers will be back in action on September 29 at the ITA Regional Tournament.
