RICHMOND – The Earlham College men's soccer team fell to the University of Cincinnati-Clermont College 3-1 in Matlack-Messer Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Quakers fell to 1-1 on the season.
The Cougars took the lead in the 32nd minute.
Rahul Jain notched his first career goal for the Quakers in the 42nd minute, and the freshman sent the teams to the locker room tied at one.
UC came out with two goals in the second half to secure the win.
The Quakers had the advantage in shot 16-15, and trailed in corner kicks 8-7.
Duncan Jordahl collected five saves in his first complete-game of the season.
The Quakers will be back in action on Wednesday at home against Adrian College. Kickoff is slated for 5 pm in Matlack-Messer
