RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College field hockey team was defeated by Oberlin College 1-0 in Darrell Beane Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Quakers fell to 1-4 on the season.
Serenity Marce and
Kaylee Griffin led the Quakers in shots with three each. Both players also placed one attempt on cage.
Rachel Alma collected six saves in goal.
The Quakers paid tribute to their four seniors prior to the start of today's game. Griffin, Alma,
Cleo Johnson, and
Keegan Grabow were celebrated prior to player introductions.
The Yeowomen scored in the 19th minute of play after a shot from a penalty corner.
Earlham was outshot 11-8, but led in penalty corners 10-5.
