HANOVER, Ind. – The Earlham College men's soccer team began its Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference schedule with a 4-0 loss at Hanover College.
The Panthers netted their first goal of the game in the 10th minute of play. Hanover then scored twice more to lead 3-0 heading into the halftime break.
Earlham was outshot 30-4 on the afternoon.
Braeden Young and
Kevin Gin both recorded one shot on goal.
Tyler Smith started the game, and made five saves in the opening 56 minutes.
Duncan Jordahl played cleanup with three saves to finish the contest.
Earlham will continue its season on Saturday at home against Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
