ALBION, Mich. – The Earlham College volleyball team dropped straight sets to Albion College for a 3-0 loss on Tuesday evening.
The Quakers fell to 3-2 on the season, while the Britons improved to 5-0.
Maria Young led the offense with 11 kills on the evening.
Ava Walters led at the net with 18 assists, while
Sydney Bleyle recorded 12.
Lauren Newcomer led the defense with nine digs.
The Quakers struggled offensively, with a .026 attack percentage as a team, with 10 offensive errors in each set. Albion recorded 10 total blocks to keep the EC attack percentage down.
The Quakers will be back in action this weekend at the Pam Briggs Classic, hosted by Otterbein and Capital. ECVB faces off with Capital University on Saturday at noon.
