RICHMOND – The Earlham College women's tennis team continued its season on Wednesday with a 9-0 loss to crosstown-rival Indiana University East. 

Maddie Cherry went to a tiebreaker in three sets at No. 1 singles for the Quakers with a loss 6-4, 4-6, 7-6. Payton Dugan took the No. 2 singles spot with a loss 6-2, 6-3. 

The pair teamed up at No. 1 doubles and fell 8-1 on the evening. 

The Quakers will be back on the court next Saturday against Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
