RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College men's basketball team fell to Transylvania University 80-57 in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action on Wednesday afternoon in Druley Performance Gym.
Ken Walker led the Quakers with 26 points and seven rebounds on the day.
Milan Kennedy brought down a team-high eight rebounds, and
Joffrey Nunnally collected five steals.
After trailing 44-29 at halftime, the Quakers came out with a 9-2 run in the first three minutes of the second half. Just two minutes later, the Quakers started a 10-4 run to bring the score to 57-51. The Pioneers then clamped down on defense, outscoring the hosts 23-6 in the final 11 minutes.
The Quakers will be back in action on Saturday at Mount St. Joseph University. Tip-off is slated for 3 pm.
