INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana – The Earlham Men's Golf team wrapped up the fall campaign competing against some of the top NCAA DIII teams in the Midwest in the Wabash Fall Invitational at the famed Broadmoor Country Club in Indianapolis.

The Quakers finished 11th in the 12-team field which included Illinois Wesleyan, ranked #5 in this week's Bushnell/Golfweek Coach's Poll.

Head Coach Matt Brown said, "Successful programs leave clues as to why they are successful. Competing against a top 5 program like Illinois Wesleyan and a half dozen other teams ranked or receiving votes this fall, lets us know what we need to do to get to the next level. While we haven't beaten a ranked opponent, we are closing the gap."

The linksters were led by Mychal McKelvey (Sr., Plain City, OH) who carded a 223 (+7) in the 54-hole event, and included a 2-under par 70 in the second round. McKelvey finished in 16th place. Arthur Del Bourgo (So., Metz, France) and Adam Strecker (Sr, Apopka, FL) also f inished in the top 50.

Brown added, "Myke, Arthur, and Adam all played really well against tough competition on a great golf course. This will be a great springboard into the spring season."

The Quakers will next be in action February 22-23 in Nashville, TN in the Music City Shootout.
