UNION GROVE, Ala. – The Earlham College men's golf team competed in the Alabama Invasion hosted by Spalding University over the weekend. 

The Quakers finished in eighth place as a team with a score of 674.

Mychal McKelvey led the Quakers on the weekend with a total of 162. McKelvey tied with Vassily Lombard for the team lead on Saturday with a 78 in round one. He then scored an 84 on day two. Lombard recorded an 87 on day two for a total score of 165. 

Adam Strecker followed with a 167 (80, 87) on the weekend. 

The Quakers will continue play on Saturday at the HCAC Preview hosted by Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. The two-day event will take place at the Country Club of Terre Haute.
