WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Earlham College softball team dropped a midweek doubleheader at Wilmington College, with final scores of 11-3 and 10-2.
Bo Shelton led the Quaker offense, going 3-for-4 at the plate with one run and one RBI.
Emmerie Stump had two hits and two RBI on the day.
Faith Butler scored two hits with one RBu in game one.
Morgan Cooksey pitched a complete game to start the day with three strikeouts and 13 hits.
Tatum Rickert started game two in the circle with seven hits and one strikeout in 4.2 innings of work. Butler recorded one out for the Quakers with one hit and a strikeout.
Earlham will open conference play on Saturday at Bluffton University. First pitch in the doubleheader is scheduled for 1 pm.
