RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College women's tennis team swept Manchester University for a 9-0 conference win on Saturday.
Maddie Cherry won at No. 1 singles 6-0, 6-1.
Payton Dugan took No. 2 singles 6-2, 6-0.
Elizabeth Hoff and Natalee McCan won at No. 3 and No. 4 singles with a 6-1, 6-1 respectively. At No. 5 singles,
Sarah Tierney took a win 6-3, 6-3.
Madison Ruwersma rounded out the lineup with a 6-7, 7-6, 7-6 win.
At doubles, Dugan and McCan paired up for an 8-0 win in the top slot. Cherry and Hoff took an 8-0 win at No. 2, and Tierney and Ruwersma won 8-7 at No. 3.
Earlham will be back in action on Wednesday against Rose-Hulman at home.
