RICHMOND, Indiana – Earlham Men’s and Women’s Golf Teams started the ’24-’25 campaign at the IU-East Fall Invitational at Highland GC in Richmond. The men finished 2nd place four strokes behind NAIA power Rio Grande (OH) breaking five program records and tying two in the process. 

Adam Strecker (Sr., Apopka, FL) led the Quakers with 143 (-1) becoming the first Quaker in history to break par for a 36-hole tournament. Vassily Lombard (Jr., Vineuil-Saint-Firmin, France) followed with 144 (E) also made the All-Tournament Team. Arthur Del Bourgo (So., Metz, France), 145 (+1) and Mychal McKelvey (Sr., Plain City, OH), 147 (+3) finished in the top 10 in the individual competition. Milan Nettl (FY, Velp, Netherlands) made his collegiate debut rounding out the starting five

The Earlham women were led by Macky Laughlin (Jr., Richmond, IN) who shot 192. The line-up also featured three first-years making their collegiate debuts, Kayle Hensley (FY, Frontenac, KS), 202, Brileigh Quillen-Popejoy (FY, Kokomo, IN), 212, and Erin Wright (FY, Muncie, IN), 247.

The men's team will host the HCAC Preview event at Forest Hills on September 14-15, while the women are back in action next weekend at Manchester University.
