MEQUON, Wis. – The Earlham College field hockey team dropped its weekend finale at Concordia University Wisconsin 2-1 on Sunday afternoon.
Alex Ball scored the first goal of her collegiate career late in the third quarter, with an assist from
Piper Brill.
Ball took two shots on the day, both on cage.
Meredith McGraw and
Sydney Schmitt also took two shots.
As a team, Earlham was outshot 12-10.
Ainsley Kemp collected five saves in goal.
Earlham hosts the Quaker Fall Classic next weekend, and will play Sewanee at 11 am on Saturday. The Quakers then host Wilson College on Sunday at 11.
