HANOVER, Ind. – The Earlham College cross country team was led by freshman
Cleo Saltz with an 11th-place finish at the Hanover Invitational on Saturday.
Saltz ran 21:28.3 in the 5k event for the Quakers, averaging 6:54.6 per mile.
Akiko Tajima brought home a 24th-place finish with a 22:47.7 in her second collegiate cross country race.
Sofie Kurrasch ran a 24:03.4, and
Katelyn Trotto rounded out the women's squad with a final time of 25:47.3.
Levi Call led the men's team, finishing in 43rd place with a 6k time of 23:20.1.
Peyton Chanley and
Anthony Gough both finished within 30 seconds of Call.
Jaden Hawthorne and
Don Papa Fall ran 6:32 and 6:33 respectively.
As a team, the Quakers finished in seventh place.
Earlham will compete in the NCAA Division III Prenational meet on October 4 in Terre Haute, Ind.
