HARRISON, Ohio – Adam Strecker (Sr., Apopka, FL) won the 2024 Stateline Shootout by one stroke. Strecker posted a 110 (+4) in the 27-hole rain-shortened event.

Battling the remnants of hurricane Helene, the Quaker senior birdied the penultimate hole, then parred the final in a downpour to hold on for the victory. Strecker was joined on the All-Tournament Team by classmate Charles Bowen-Rayner (Sr., London, England.)

The team finished in 2nd place to Asbury University in the nine-team event.  

Head Coach Matt Brown said, "The seniors really stepped up today. Charles, Adam, Mychal McKelvey, and Hudson Roebken, all scored for the team. It was a tough day with the elements and yesterday's postponement. I'm really proud how the lads responded."

Junior EJ Upton (West Chester, OH) also carded a career best 80 in the first round.

The men are back in action next Monday and Tuesday at the Wabash Invitation in Indianapolis.
