CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Earlham College volleyball team fell twice on Saturday at the Case Western Tournament in Cleveland.
MATCH ONE: EARLHAM 1 MOUNT UNION 3 (25-18, 20-25, 18-25, 25-27)
Caylee Brandes led the Quaker hitters in match one with 15 kills and three blocks.
Skyler Murray hit 12 kills and had a .205 attack percentage.
Ava Walters dished out 31 assists and had two serving aces.
Sydney Bleyle recorded 16 assists and one ace.
Madison Bizjak led the back line with 24 digs.
MATCH TWO: EARLHAM 0 CASE WESTERN 3 (15-25, 13-25, 19-25)
Addison Piatt led the Quakers in the nightcap with 11 kills and just two errors. The freshman also hit one ace. Walters led the Quakers with 17 assists, and 12 digs.
Earlham will continue play on Tuesday at Ohio Northern University. The Match is scheduled for 7 pm in Ada, Ohio.
