RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College men's soccer team took a 3-1 loss to Transylvania University on Homecoming in Matlack-Messer Stadium.
Transylvania notched its first goal in the 30th minute of play, and struck again in the 61st and 74th minutes.
Trailing 3-0, Earlham drew a penalty kick in the 75th minute of play. Stepping into the box,
Mason Paul's shot on the penalty kick was saved, but the sophomore followed his shot and scored on a second attempt.
Ryland Wamsley collected eight saves in goal.
Earlham is set to host Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology on Wednesday in Matlack-Messer. Kickoff is slated for 3:30 pm.
