FRANKLIN, Ind. – Trailing 1-0 after 23 minutes, the Earlham College men's soccer team rallied for a 1-1 tie at Franklin College in HCAC action on Wednesday evening.
Franklin took the lead on a 23rd-minute goal on a 35 yard shot to the far post. The Grizzlies retained their advantage through the halftime break. In the 75th minute,

Mason Paul on a through ball down the right side, and Paul delivered a cross to a waiting
Rhoi Phulusa who connected on the back side to strike in an equalizer.
The Quakers outshot Franklin 12-11, and led 6-4 in shots on target, despite being outshot 8-3 in the first half. Phulusa led the attack with five total shots, and four on goal.
In goal,
Ryland Wamsley collected three saves.
Earlham hosts Hanover College on Saturday for Senior Day in Matlack-Messer Stadium. Kickoff is slated for 3:30 pm.
