ANDERSON, Ind. – The Earlham College men's soccer team picked up a conference win at Anderson University 2-1 on Saturday afternoon.
Orin Gentner scored the first Earlham goal in the 21st minute of play, off of an assist by
Luke Hamaker. Jude Fossam added to the lead with an unassisted goal in the 43rd minute of action.
Leading 2-0 at halftime, the Quakers allowed a goal in the 53rd minute of play on a corner kick.
Rhoi Phulusa led the Quaker offensive efforts with five shots, and two attempts on target.
On the day, Earlham was outshot 13-10, but the Quakers led in shots on goal 4-3.
Ryland Wamsley collected two saves in goal.
Earlham is set to continue conference play on Wednesday afternoon at Bluffton University at 3:30 pm.
