SHELBYVILLE, Ind. – The Earlham College cross country team competed in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship meet on Saturday at Blue River Cross Country Course.
Cleo Saltz earned all-conference honors, running a 52-second personal record to finish in 24:16.03. Saltz finished in 14th place individually. Freshman
Julia Compson finished in 49th place with a 27:46.83 in the 6k race.
Ethan Rose led the men's team in 24th place individually with a time of 27:42.36. Four men finished the 8k race in under 30 minutes.
Peyton Chanley took home 41st place,
Anthony Gough finished in 60th place, and
Levi Call scored 62nd place.
As a team, the men's squad finished in sixth place, up three spots from last season's meet.
Quaker athletes will have one more chance to compete at the Great Lakes Regional in Louisville, Ky.
