HANOVER, Ind. – The Earlham College volleyball team dropped its first conference match of the season with a 3-1 final result at Hanover College on Saturday afternoon.
Anniyah Harrington led the Quakers with 16 kills, a .164 hitting percentage, one ace and one block.
Caylee Brandes scored 16 kills with a .174 swinging percentage.
Addison Piatt tallied 14 kills with 18 digs and a .220 attack percentage.
Ava Walters and
Sydney Bleyle both dished out 24 assists with one ace. Walters also added 14 digs while Bleyle collected 17. Maddison Bizjak led the back line with 35 digs.
After a narrow loss in set one, the Quakers rallied to take the win in set two. Hanover then scored a win in set three before scoring an 8-3 run to rally from behind and win set four.
The Quakers continue play on Wednesday evening at 7 pm against Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Druley Performance Gym.
