RICHMOND, Ind. – With a 3-1 win over Mount St. Joseph on Saturday, the Earlham College volleyball team has claimed the 2025 HCAC Regular Season Championship, and the Quakers will head into postseason play as the No.1 seed in the HCAC Tournament.
After falling behind in the first set, the Quakers rallied for three straight set wins, led by senior hitter
Jasmyn Meeker. Meeker set a season-high with 12 kills, a .375 hitting percentage, and two blocks.
Caylee Brandes scored 11 kills, with two blocks and five digs.
Gabby Gerardi celebrated her Senior Day with five blocks, five kills and a .267 hitting percentage.
Ava Walters and Syndey Bleyle combined for 43 assists, with Walters serving up three aces.
Madison Bizjak, who has already broken the record for most digs in a season, collected 30 in the Quaker back line.
Aniyah Harrington collected 12 digs, and scored nine points for her final regular-season match in Druley Performance Gym.
As a team, Earlham scored 49 digs with four aces and eight blocks.
The Quakers are set to host the 2025 HCAC Tournament next weekend, but first, Earlham will host the No.8 seed in the tournament on Wednesday evening. Earlham will welcome either Bluffton or Anderson to Druley Performance Gym at 7 pm on Wednesday, depending on how the rest of the conference shakes out on Saturday. If Earlham wins on Wednesday, the four remaining teams in the conference will come to Druley Performance Gym on Saturday for the semifinals beginning at 2 pm.
