RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College men's lacrosse team began its season with an 8-2 loss at home against Alma College on Wednesday.
The Scots took the lead on a goal in the fifth minute of play, and led 4-0 by halftime.
Giovanni Randazzo and
Liam McGlynn both scored their first career goals for the Quakers in the third quarter.
Robbie Gift was the most active attackman with four shots, all on goal.
Ryan Polack and
Elijah Adamson both recorded three caused turnovers. Adamson and McGlynn tied for the team lead in ground balls with five each.
Making his first collegiate start in goal,
Brooks Pierce collected 12 saves.
The Quakers went 24-for-33 on clear attempts
The Quakers will be back in action on Saturday at Wabash College. The road matchup is scheduled for 1 pm.
