PENDLETON, Ind. – The Earlham College women's tennis team fell to Transylvania University in the HCAC Championship game 4-0 on Sunday afternoon.
Lawrencia Manu scored a set win at No.3 singles with a 1-6, 4-1 result before the match was concluded.
Paige Hobbs also had a strong showing at No.4 singles with a 6-1, 4-3 loss.
The Pioneers swept doubles play, with 6-0, 6-3, and 6-1 wins.
The Quakers conclude their season with the best mark since the program was revived in 2022, with an 11-9 record and a 5-1 conference mark. The Quakers hosted their first HCAC Tournament match with a 5-2 win over Franklin in the opening round.
