RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College volleyball team is adding to its staff for 2025, welcoming Trayce Wilson-Ruffin as an assistant coach for the Quakers.
Wilson-Ruffin has experience coaching at multiple high school programs, including South Central High School, and John Paul II Catholic School. While at John Paul II, Trayce helped lead the program to back-to-back conference championships in 2020 and 2021. He continued the success in 2023, setting the school record for most wins in a season with 21.
Wilson-Ruffin also has experience outside of a school program. He spent 10 years coaching at the East Carolina Junior Volleyball Club, and earned a bid to the USAV Nationals in 2018.
A graduate of East Carolina University, Trayce spent three seasons as a practice player on the East Carolina women's volleyball team. His older sister, Kayla, is also a collegiate volleyball coach at North Carolina Wesleyan College. Wilson-Ruffin's younger sister, Ali, played volleyball at the Citadel.
The Quakers begin fall play on August 29th at Illinois Wesleyan College. First serve is scheduled for 6 pm.
