RICHMOND, Ind. – Earlham College sophomore
Cleo Saltz led the Quakers in their first home meet since 2017 with a win in the 5k race on Friday evening.
Saltz paced the women's race, recording a time of 20:56.3 to take victory by 12 seconds. Freshman Julia Compson finished in 10th place overall with a time of 23:46.5, and
Sofie Kurrasch rounded out the Quaker lineup with 12th place with a final time of 24:40.7.
Ethan Rose scored a podium finish in the men's race with a time of 16:59.2.
Anthony Gough and
Peyton Chanley also finished top-10 for the Quakers in sixth and ninth place respectively.
As a team, the Quaker men finished in second place to Wilmington College.
The Quakers hit the course again next weekend at the Grizzly Invite hosted by Franklin College at Blue River Cross Country Course in Shelbyville.
