LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Earlham College men's soccer team dropped a non-conference match at Spalding University on Wednesday evening 2-1.
The Quakers fell down on the scoreboard in the 18th minute on a score off of a cross in the penalty area by the Golden Eagles.
The hosts struck again in the 51st minute before
Mason Paul jumped on a loose ball for a goal in the 72nd minute.
Austin Jaunarajs was the most active Quaker offensively with two shots.
Ryland Wamsley collected three saves in goal.
The Quakers were narrowly outshot 18-7, and trailed 6-2 in corner kicks.
Earlham hosts Indiana University East for a crosstown doubleheader on Saturday at 3:30 pm in Matlack-Messer.
