RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College volleyball team swept Ohio Northern University with a 3-0 win on Tuesday evening in Druley Performance Gym.
Anniyah Harrington scored a team-high 14 kills with a .375 attack percentage, one block, one ace and 12 digs.
Caylee Brandes scored 13 kills and posted a .314 hitting percentage.
Ava Walters dished out a team-high 26 assists, while
Sydney Bleyle tallied 12 assists.
Madison Bizjak led the back line with 25 digs.
As a team, the Quakers swung at a .301 clip with 52 kills and four blocks.
Trailing 16-14, the Quakers put together an 8-2 run, and outscored the Polar Bears 11-3 to end the set. The Quakers continued their momentum into the second set, starting the frame with a 12-2 lead. Leading 13-7 in the second set, Earlham scored a 12-4 run to take a 2-0 lead. The Quakers hit .405 in the second frame, and committed just one error.
The Quakers travel to Franklin College this weekend for neutral-site matches against Kalamazoo and Wheaton.
