BLUFFTON, Ohio – The Earlham College men's basketball team took a 96-87 overtime loss at Bluffton University on Wednesday evening.
Donovan Pruitt scored a career-high 25 points to lead the Quakers. He also pulled down 11 rebounds and dished out four assists.
Tommy Reddick scored 16 points with four boards and three assists.
Connor Smith and
Bud Davis each scored 11 points.
Patrick Hardimon collected 11 rebounds and two steals.
Leading 29-27 at halftime, Earlham mounted an 11-point comeback in the final eight minutes of regulation to force overtime. An 8-2 run capped off by a 3-pointer from Davis died the game with 80 seconds remaining.
Leading 85-82, the Beavers scored a 10-0 run to lead by double digits with just over one minute remaining in the overtime period.
Earlham will host Anderson University on Saturday at 1 pm in Druley Performance Gym.
