RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College men's soccer team improved to 2-1 in HCAC action with a 1-0 win over Franklin College on Wednesday afternoon in Matlack-Messer Stadium.
Mason Paul delivered the deciding goal in the 28th minute of action after a cross from
Anuraag Sen at the top of the Grizzly penalty area.
Paul led the Quakers on the day with two shots on goal. Earlham outshot Franklin 7-2, with five shots on target.
In goal,
Joshua Gandee made one save, and also had a critical stop on a misplayed ball back into the Quaker defensive area.
The Quakers travel to Transylvania University on Saturday for a 3:30 pm conference matchup at the Pioneers.
