RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College men's lacrosse team continued play with a 14-6 loss to Franciscan University on Saturday afternoon in Darrell Beane Stadium.
Robbie Gift led the Quakers, scoring a hat trick on the day with one assist.
Ivan Pineda scored twice, and
Ryan Polack scored one goal with two assists.
Giovanni Randazzo led the defense with three caused turnovers and seven ground balls.
Saxon Coleman went 10-22 on faceoffs, and picked up six ground balls.
Ryan Dolafi made nine saves in goal, while
Thoms Toussaint collected four saves.
The Quakers trailed 7-0 before Gift netted the first Earlham goal of the game midway through the second quarter. Earlham trailed 7-1 at halftime, and 11-2 entering the fourth quarter.
Earlham will be back in action next weekend against La Roche University at 1 pm in Darrell Beane.
