RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College men's lacrosse team concluded its season on Sunday with a 20-2 loss to Transylvania University in Darrell Beane Stadium.
The Pioneers took the lead just seven seconds into the game after winning the opening faceoff. Transylvania then led 8-1 at the end of the first quarter.
Senior
Robbie Gift scored the first goal of the day for Earlham with 11:19 remaining in the first quarter with an assist from Cape MacAlhaney. In the fourth quarter,
Ivan Pineda notched a second Quaker goal unassisted.
Liam McGlynn led the defense with four caused turnovers and eight ground balls while also winning a faceoff.
Ryan Dolafi collected 13 saves in goal, and
Thoms Toussaint made an appearance in the cage with nine saves.
