RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College men's soccer team won 5-0 over Kuyper College on Tuesday afternoon in Darrell Beane Stadium.
Mason Paul led the high-powered offense on the day, scoring two goals on four shots.
Eduardo Martinez scored the first goal of the game in the 10th minute of play after placing a cross into the Cougar defensive area. Martines then assisted
Mason Paul for a 2-0 lead in the 28th minute. Paul closed out the first half with a penalty kick goal in the 42nd minute.
Luke Hamaker started the second half with a goal in the 48th minute of play. Freshman
ReShaun Godfrey scored his first career goal after earning a penalty kick in the 54th minute of play.
Earlham outshot the Cougars 28-2, and placed 14 shots on target.
The Quakers begin conference play this weekend at Manchester University at 3:30 pm.
