The 2026 season is Slade's frist on the Quaker coaching staff. 

Slade spent two seasons as a graduate assistant coach at Heidelberg University befroe joining the Quakers. 

As a player, Slade spend four years at Bluffton University, where he was named to the HCAC Sportsmanship team.
