Biography
Originally from Sabina, Ohio, Adrianna is studying mathematics with the goal of becoming a teacher and is one of two math majors on the team. Benitez has been playing soccer since she was 5 and for a little bit in middle school played on an all boys team. The time on the team was formative for her. “It helped me become more confident in myself as well as a more physical player with faster decision making skills.” Benitez is a fan of the Chicago Red Stars and an admirer of Julie Ertz and on top of soccer is also a great swimmer.
Adriana is a player that is very determined, has an open mind, and wants to explore. On the field she is always calm and helps the Quakers maintain possession in the midfield.
Why Earlham?
“I was really looking at everything that Earlham had to offer, like the 3+1 program, which is an amazing opportunity. Also, everyone on my visit was so welcoming and I didn't feel like I would have any problems making new friends and meeting new people.”
