Mallory Smith grew up in Oxford, Ohio and is studying psychology at Earlham. If you need help with your psychology homework as a TA for the department she can help. She grew up an Abby Wambach fan and currently admires the play of Crystal Dunn. Growing up in Oxford her family shaped her the most. “We’ve always been super family oriented and because of that I have learned everything about life through them.” Smith has solidified herself as a mainstay in the Quaker’s attack with eight goals and seven assists over her two seasons with the team. Her pace on the wing and ability to shoot with either foot means she is a dangerous part of the Quaker front line. A hard worker on and off the field, Smith is a team first player, “I am going to work very hard for the things I hope to achieve and push those around me to be the best they can be.”
Why Earlham?
“The campus tour sold me. When I got to Earlham I didn’t feel as stressed about the college decision anymore, like I just felt really comfortable for the first time on a college visit. Everybody that I saw or met and talked to were some of the nicest and most welcoming people.”
