Biography
Natalie, aka “Nat,” grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and is studying history at Earlham. She really likes American history and a dream job would be introducing people to the museums of the world akin to the show “Mysteries of the Museum.” The people that she grew up around shaped her the most, “I have like four second families now.” Her Dad is the one that introduced her to soccer but her sister inspired her to start playing. “I wanted to be like her so bad.” Natalie is a very friendly and outgoing person that is eager to get to know people. A favorite quote of hers is, “I think therefore I am.” The way she explains it is, “if I think I can do it then I can do it … I have to believe in myself first.” As a player she is a great communicator, physical defender, a strong arial presence, and adaptable. Within her first season with the Quakers she played 3 different positions and proved to be a real threat off of corners scoring two goals.
Why Earlham?
“The soccer team and the coaches. I really just liked the school. It was very welcoming, and everyone was so nice. Also, the campus was really beautiful.”
