Earlham College

Taliyah "Tee" Coles is a native of Indianapolis, IN planning on studying social services at Earlham. A very academic individual Tee strives for academic honors every year. She is also a fan of Usain Bolt and his execution which you can see in her own dedication to work on the field, "you just know you are going to see a fire race every time he gets on the track." Tee credits her parents for shaping her the most growing up, "I have to give them credit." Her dad, in particular, pushed her to be the best that she can be in athletics. "He makes me get up and do workouts, and he always tells me there is someone out there working harder than you. In the moment I don't like it, but afterwards it works out." An athletic player, Tee likes the physicality of soccer and has always been excited by the ability to go shoulder to shoulder with other players. Coming into Earlham she is looking forward to meeting new people and coming out of her shell. Tee values love, intensity, and effort. "I like working with people that I can see are trying really hard, you don't even have to be the most skilled if I can see that you are working hard, that is all I really care about to be honest." Aggressive, fierce, and always motivating her teammates, Tee is a player with good vision on the field and appreciates a good pass. ECWS is excited to have Tee joining them and are eager to see what she can bring to the program within her first year!
