Earlham College

Originally from Sabina, Ohio, Adrianna is studying mathematics with the goal of becoming an actuary. She has been playing soccer since she was five and, for a period during middle school, played on an all-boys team. That experience was formative for her, helping her become more confident in herself while developing into a more physical player with faster decision-making skills. 

Adrianna has continued to challenge herself beyond the soccer field and classroom. During her time at Earlham, she has participated in summer research with the Mathematics Department and traveled to Madrid, Spain, where she completed a four-week finance internship. She is also a fan of the Chicago Red Stars and admires Julie Ertz. Outside of soccer, A is an accomplished swimmer. 

Adrianna is a determined player with an open mind and a curiosity that drives her to explore new experiences. On the field, she brings a calm presence to the midfield and helps the Quakers maintain possession. The team values her ability to combine composure, determination, and a willingness to learn. 

Why Earlham? 

“My answer to "Why Earlham" started as an appreciation for the small class sizes. Coming from a small high school, the small classroom sizes immediately felt like home, but what I didn't expect was how the small classroom sizes would allow me to build meaningful relationships with my professors and peers. Earlham has challenged me to grow as a student, an athlete, and a person and the tight-knit community made all the difference. When it comes to the soccer team, I have chosen to stick with the team these past four years because everyone is constantly pushing each other to grow and become better versions of themselves. We all want each other to succeed.”
